well, i made it thru the day, the long long long tiring draining day. it was a good day, but i am spent. lots of driving from the far east to the far west back far east again, i was glad to be back on my perch! our family celebrated thanksgiving at my sisters today. all my grandbabies were there, my sisters grandbabies, my sisters godchildren, lots of children! that made my sister happy! they all had fun , and the adults had fun watching them. the food was great, i missed my turn coming home in the dark, i can barely see in the dark, and i get all nervous driving at night, but we made it. now my body hurts, i think i must have pulled a muscle in my chest from lifting the babies or something, cause it hoot! i ate the plate of food i brought home to have tomorrow! i am looking forward to a good nights sleep, (if it happens, will be the first time in years!) and lounging all day tomorrow on my couch , watching tv or whatever. I'M OLD! well, it's late and i'm off to beaver land! toodles

Well today i am baking pies and things for our celebration at Etar's tomorrow, I have been havinag mishaps in the kitchen, namely, burning up pots! I put some soup on to heat, forgot about it, burned it all up, pan and all, house filled with smoke, it was awful, choking on the fumes and opening windows to air it out all day long. I was told that my clothes smelled like burnt pan! Then a couple of days later, I did the same thing with another pan, burned the whole thing up, that's 2 pans down the drain, no smoke everywhere tho, i thought i had turned the burner off, but i didn't! Needless to say my smoke detectors are not working, and being that i can't smell, it could be a very dangerous thing. Any way, i am using my timer every time i use the stove to remind me ! Pawdy? Beautiful day again, 60 degrees the next week or so.

it's been a long time since i've blogged, i can't get used to writing things down. but today i was inspired by my grandson Jonah who was eating lunch, and promptly placed a pea in his left nostril. No one saw this, but when I saw him whipmering and puting his finger up his nose, i wondered . So his mother took a look and sure enough, there is was! Papa got some tweezers and Mama gently removed the pea. Jonah was very cooperative through it all, Whew! so glad a trip to the ER didnt happen, Needless to say, Mama will be VERY careful with Jonah and peas from now on! But it will be a funny story to tell him when he's older!
